ABOUT AMY
Amy has been in the Real Estate industry since birth. Born to a prevalent Real Estate Broker in Salt Lake City, Amy learned from her father the ins and outs of the business. Amy tagged along for open house, home showings and listing appointments. She learned early on how valuable a Real Estate agent can be in people’s lives.
She moved to Seattle in 1995, pursued an MA in Ethnomusicology at the University of Washington and worked for several years in the music industry with Northwest Folklife, Bumbershoot, and more. Amy then returned to her roots in Real Estate in 2005. All those years working to put on shows and events proved to be great training for Real Estate transactions! Who knew that Real Estate would turn out to be so much like an event! Instead of wrangling musicians and agents and managers and venues and promoters, Amy now works with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, inspectors, appraisers, contractors, title and escrow to keep everyone in line for a smooth transaction.
Currently, Amy hangs her Real Estate license in the heart of Fremont with Rockwell Realty, LLC, and continues to work as a volunteer producing shows and other music related events in her spare time with KEXP 90.3 FM. Amy is a champion of the environment and drives a 99.9% biodiesel car and offers her clients the gift of a carbon neutral home for the first year upon purchasing a new home. Amy is currently pursuing her “Eco-Broker” license for expertise in energy-efficient homes, green building and more. Amy lives in Seattle with her husband, Fireman Jim and her dogs, Lady and Jake.
Seattle Home Girl was conceived while brainstorming domain names with her friend, Chris. It sounded fun and memorable. It also suggests that Amy is working for you- she is YOUR Home Girl. Contact Amy and find out just how working with Seattle Home Girl is all about YOU!
